EMAS stands for
Eco-Management and Audit Scheme, and is a European standard that promotes the voluntary adoption of an environmental management system (EMS) that goes well beyond ISO 14001, since the participating organisations must guarantee a certain level of efficiency, transparency and credibility. The system in fact requires the results of the organisation’s environmental performance to be published externally.
By achieving EMAS certification, Marangoni Tread has confirmed its ongoing awareness of and attention to environmental issues; it once again stands out for its maximum commitment to promoting a culture of “quality”.

Voluntary enlisting in the EMAS register allows organisations to assess and improve their environmental performance (greater efficiency of the organisation in fact helps
reduce waste and decrease environmental impact), to provide appropriate information and create a relationship of trust with institutions and the public.
Choosing a retreaded tyre means respecting the environment: retreading not only helps reduce environmental pollution, but guarantees enormous savings in natural resources and energy.
